On the morning of March 18, a delegation from the organizing committee of the 12th Gas Turbine Focus Conference & Exhibition visited the Advanced Power Research Institute of Hangzhou Steam Turbine Power Group Co., Ltd. The delegation was received by Sui Yongfeng, President of the Research Institute, and relevant gas turbine experts.
Reuniting as old friends, both parties held in-depth discussions on the gas turbine industry, particularly the significant progress of domestic gas turbines, and visited the complete machine test platform located in Linping District, Hangzhou. The organizing committee expressed admiration for the vision of the leadership of Hangzhou Steam Turbine Power – a local state-owned enterprise – as well as the passion and professional dedication of its R&D team. Having embarked on the independent R&D of domestic gas turbines a decade ago, Hangzhou Steam Turbine Power has now achieved fruitful results.
