The Organizing Committee of GTF Visits School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

To promote the in-depth integration of "industry-university-research-application" in the field of aero power and gas turbines, and accelerate technological innovation and industrial upgrading, on April 2, Mr. Li Qingxing, Executive Secretary of the GTF Organizing Committee and Chairman of CDMC, led a delegation to the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU School of Aeronautics and Astronautics) for research and exchanges. The delegation was warmly received by Vice Dean Zhang Bo, Vice Dean Xu Wu, Chief Researcher Teng Jinfang, and Associate Professor Gao Yi of SJTU School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, who accompanied them throughout the exchange.

During the discussions, both parties conducted in-depth and lively exchanges on the current development status, challenges, and future trends of the aero power and gas turbine industry. Vice Dean Zhang Bo of SJTU School of Aeronautics and Astronautics spoke highly of the GTF Focus Conference's important position and influence in the industry. He noted that as a large-scale, far-reaching top event in the sector, the GTF Focus Conference provides an excellent platform for participating enterprises to communicate and learn. In recent years, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, School of Mechanical Engineering, and other related research institutes of SJTU have actively participated in the conference. Through in-depth exchanges with industry peers, they have gained extensive cutting-edge technical information and industry dynamics, and established extensive and in-depth cooperative relationships with other enterprises, achieving fruitful results.

Dean Zhang stated that the GTF 2025 has become an indispensable annual industry event for SJTU. This year, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics will continue to deeply participate in the 2025 GTF Focus Conference, comprehensively showcasing the school's latest technological achievements and innovative concepts in the field of aero power and gas turbines, and looks forward to in-depth exchanges and cooperation with more industry peers at the conference to jointly promote industrial development.
